How to Prepare for Your Myeongdong Color Analysis

Before Your Session at Our Seoul Studio
If possible, come with little to no makeup, or be ready to remove foundation and blush before draping starts — heavy makeup can mask your natural undertone and skew the result.
What Not to Wear or Do the Morning Of
- Avoid strongly colored tops near your face (bright orange, deep red) right before your session
- Skip a fresh spray tan or heavy self-tanner in the days before
- Try not to arrive sunburned if avoidable
What to Bring Into Myeongdong
Bring a photo of colors you already love or avoid if you have strong opinions — it can speed up the conversation. Otherwise, just show up on time; the studio provides everything needed for draping.
Common Questions
Do I need to remove all my makeup?
Light or no makeup is ideal; your consultant will let you know if anything needs to come off before draping starts.
Can I still get an accurate result if I have dyed hair?
Yes — your consultant accounts for hair color when interpreting your draping results.
What should I wear?
Neutral colors are easiest, but don't stress over it — the fabric drapes themselves do the real work.
Should I bring anything else?
Just yourself and, optionally, a reference photo of colors you already like or dislike.
